Refraction Physical Therapy is a Physical Therapy and Fitness studio located on Long Island, Ny.
I was asked to design a logo for this new studio that spoke to fitness, physical therapy and martial arts without the usual cliche traps. The studio owner was also very interested in the concept of growth and skill building as results, not just weight loss.
The finished design is based on the geometric idea of tessellations and also prisms. The idea that one thing can repeat itself and change over time to fit a space. The design has a colorful option as well as black and white.
